Item work excellent, I use it with aux input and connect a 30gb dell jukebox, works and sound excellent.Also I use mp3 cds and never break the sound even in bumpy roads. I like the ability to match the display color to the color of my OEM instruments. Or not. It's a very nice looking unit.That said, I bought it with the iPod interface and all I can say is that with the help, I'm sure, of a legion of it's best design and engineering minds, Sony has managed to take the iPod's brilliantly simple and intuitive interface and make it as user unfriendly as possible. The logic of the menus is incomprehensible and the manual doesn't even cover the use of the unit with the interface! At times the button that scrolls through my playlists scrolls through song selections instead. Then unexplicably goes back to scrolling through playlists. Other times, the Shuffle feature refuses to offer a Playlist option locking me into just Albums or All instead. And sometimes, just as unexplicably, the unit stops playing altogether and will not restart until for some unexplained reason, it starts... Read more |
