I have 3 sony 12" 1200W subs just like these in a prefab box. I got then for about $70 at walmart about a year ago, ive had them hooked to a 1200W pioneer"it was a pos amp", then a 6000W pyle" was good hit hard, but i bought a high performance 3000W class D mono block audiopipe 9000w rms, with one cracked sub and the amp untuned at the time i hit 138.6Db at 40-30hz, i have it set to 1 and 2 ohm, ive ran them for about 2 hours full blast trying to blow them and couldnt do it, also with 0 gauge power and ground wire, now that i got the one sub fixed and the amp tuned i hit a 145.3Db @40-35hz its the same as four 12" kicker comps in a pro box. i very much recommend these subwoofers. just as a side note when it comes to high bass about 90-70hz they arent really ment for it.. made for deep clear bass. but there good with quick bass in a rock song.

very good woofer for the money. ive got mine hooked up to an 800watt sony xplod amp and it holds its own. i just dont understand the price, it says $100, so i went to walmart and bought it right off the shelf for like $60.
