The face plate would not move back up after it moves down so I could put in a CD. I have been one to want full control of the frequences and which ones to hear more of. With this you can do just that. I hate goin to listen to other friends' subwoofers and so they have to turn up the bass. With this deck/reciever you have an idividual subwoofer volume setting. There are about 10 equilizer preset, each of which you can edit, including a "Custom" EQ.The shipping was UNBELIEVEABLY fast. NO JOKE! I ordered it one day and received it the next. I didn't even think it was possible AND I didn't pay for next day delivery. Only 2 problems, but very minor. When the volume is over 27 dB it crackles a little, but that may be my iPod. Also, I wish it had an iPod navigation through the USB, however you must use the auxilary jack to your iPod; nothing big, just letting you know not to expect one. The navigation for flash drives or flash drive-like mp3 players is really easy to use...
